Staying in the Rothay room was a delightful experience, with stunning views of the Lion and the Lamb, and an immaculately clean, tastefully decorated space featuring a comfortable bed and high-tech bathroom. The fresh coffee bags and quality toiletries added thoughtful touches. The honesty bar in the guests' lounge created a cozy atmosphere, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Breakfast was exceptional, particularly with the perfectly scrambled eggs and fresh fruit salad, but access to more sandwich options would have been appreciated.

We had a wonderful three-night stay, enjoying the beautifully presented double room and the warm hospitality of Jacqui and Keith, making us feel right at home while we explored the nearby Alock Tarn, just a short 1 km walk from the B&B, and took a stroll around Rydal Water, which is almost a 2 km scenic path away.

My partner and I had a delightful two-night stay in the Helm Crag room, where we were greeted with breathtaking views and impeccable cleanliness. The breakfast offered a lovely selection with high-quality ingredients, definitely a highlight of our mornings. Jacky, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring all our dietary needs were met. The only downside was the size of our room, but it had everything we needed for comfort.

We spent 2 nights in a lovely double room with awesome views. Jacky, our host, was super friendly and helped us with hiking tips. The breakfast was delish, totally loved the honesty bar too! One downside was that the shower could use a bit more pressure, but overall, everything was perfect!

The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk to the village and all the local attractions. The guest lounge was cozy, with a great selection of drinks at the honesty bar. Only downside was the Wi-Fi signal in my room. it could use some improvement for those who need to stay connected. But the charm of the place and Jacky's warm hospitality more than made up for it.
